SELF-FUNDING DESIGN: Terracoin has the ability to fund community efforts by using a model that allocates approximately 10% of the block rewards to the communal budget. This communal budget can be used to fund outreach initiatives, the development of new features, chari- table endeavors, and whatever else the community sees fit. This self-funding model gives Terracoin a number of benefits, such as the ability to pay talented developers for their services rather than begging them to work for free or deal with other unwanted scenarios. This aids continual improve- ments for Terracoin and keeps the community in control. INCREASED NETWORK SECURITY: Their new Dark Gravity Wave feature adjusts the difficulty of every block that is mined, which pro- tects the network against a time warp attack. Furthermore, Terracoin’s Spork feature helps the coin avoid any hard forks by waiting for consen- sus before implementing new codes. Recognizing cryptos in the past have been susceptible to hack- ing and other security issues, Terracoin has taken the time to ensure that they are protected with advanced network security features.
