News Hash – SmartCash ($SMART) Offers a Crypto Alternative to Pre-Paid Debit Cards

During the Anarchaforko event taking place in Mexico, the SmartCash (Crypto: SMART) team unveiled the SmartCard, an all-crypto payment solution coming out in the next 2-3 months that will function similar to a pre-paid debit card. A set of apps will enable anyone with a phone to create their own card, and even run a shop/business in a similar fashion to other traditional smartphone-based Point of Sale (PoS) solutions.

Since the SmartCash network is used for the transactions, the merchant can operate with virtually no fees and regardless of access to banking services or lack thereof. So, in addition to incentivizing current businesses to start accepting SmartCash, the easy-to-implement SmartCard solution will empower the 2 billion “unbanked” people to become active and effective contributors to the global economy through the SmartCash blockchain.
